Appointment Cancellation & Rescheduling
Did you know Sass Beauty Centre is a family run small local business that only has a limited number of appointments available? The time allocated for your appointment is reserved for you. When you book an appointment with Sass Beauty Centre we guarantee you this time and appoint a fully qualified and highly experienced professional to take care of your needs. Our goal at Sass Beauty Centre is to provide a quality service in a timely manner. Last minute cancellations do have a significant impact on Sass Beauty Centre, our clients and team. We have found that the deposit policy is the fairest way of managing commitment to appointments and it also has the added benefit of keeping our costs down for our wonderful clients. As a client when booking an appointment you will be required to pay a 20% deposit fee, details are as follows:
Booking Policy
To the extent permitted by law, any upfront payment received when booking services with us is a non-refundable 20% deposit. In the event that the appointment is cancelled within 24 hours of the appointment date or the person does not arrive for the appointment, your deposit will be forfeited and used to recover costs incurred by us in maintaining availability of our employees and resources. In the event that you cancel your appointment more than 24 hours prior to your appointed time, then your deposit can be used for another appointment within 4 weeks. If you are using a gift voucher, 20% of the voucher will be charged if the cancellation is received with less than 24hrs notice. For your convenience, we have answering services outside salon hours so you can call anytime 33513623. As we have little to no walk ins, we find it almost impossible to fill cancelled spots at short notice. This 24 hour cancellation period will give your beauty therapist a fair opportunity to fill your vacated spot.
Salon Etiquette
We ask if you can arrive 5 minutes prior to your appointment in order to register and relax and to ensure you receive the full service you have booked in for. If you are running late, please let us know – we will do everything we can to accommodate you, however, keep in mind that we may have to reschedule your appointment, or may not have time to complete the whole service in consideration of the next client, in which case you will forfeit your deposit and make another booking with a separate deposit. Please note some bookings are allocated a 10 minute timeframe, so if you are 5 minutes late for your 10 minute booking we may not be able to fit you in. We also ask that once entering Sass Beauty Centre, that you turn off your mobile phone in consideration of clients wanting to relax.
Responsibility for Children
We love children and understand sometimes you cant find a baby sitter, although where possible we recommend against bringing children. The environment is serene and quiet and a peaceful escape for our clients, and it is really not the ideal environment for small children. Additionally, as your eyes may remain closed for the duration of your treatment, and your beauty therapist will be focusing on you – there will be no supervision for your children, which could be dangerous. Our insurance does not cover unattended children in the salon, and we would hate for anything to happen – like all beauty salons, there are things like hot wax, chemicals, sharps and dyes that are not good for little people to get their hands on. A suggestion, could be to try to find a time where you can come with a friend who is also in the same predicament, and schedule your appointments one after the other so you can each enjoy some quiet time.
Cancellation Policy for Cosmetic Tattoo
A $50 booking fee is required to secure your appointment. This is non refundable. Booking fees can be transferred to another appointment if you need to reschedule, no later than 48 hours before your appointment. Any changes made to your appointment 48 hours or less before your appointment will forfeit your booking fee.
Reminder Service
We offer an SMS reminder service which is sent to you 48 hours prior to your appointment. On receipt of this text, we ask that you confirm ‘y’ for Yes or call to cancel. Sass Beauty Centre reserves the right to cancel any unconfirmed appointments. ‘No shows” will be required to pay deposits for all future appointments.
In Salon Refund Policy
Please choose carefully. We do not provide refunds or swap products, if you change your mind.
In the case of pre-paid treatments, the full cost of treatment will be forfeited if you do not provide 24 hours.
Customers may receive a refund, exchange or credit when goods are proven to be faulty within the 14 day period.
Refund arrangements must be made through Sass Beauty Centre, any refunds exceeding the amount of $500 will be processed throughout head office by electronic funds transfer within 7 days of authorisation.
We do not refund on services already provided or prepaid services. Series packages are non-refundable and non-transferable.
Gift Voucher Conditions of Use
Gift vouchers should be treated as cash tender and lost or stolen vouchers will not be replaced.
Gift vouchers are valid for a strict period of 36 months from the date of purchase.
Gift vouchers on non-refundable.
Gift vouchers may be used for redemption on any Sass Beauty Centre services, and not products.
Your gift voucher is considered a deposit for your booking. Changing, rescheduling or cancelling a treatment with less than 24 hours notice will result in a 20% deposit deducted from your gift voucher.

It is important to provide us with updated contact information, this allows our team to contact you regarding your appointments. We also require you to update us with any new medications or illnesses as we may need to adjust your treatment accordingly.
