Appointment Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy

At Sass Beauty Centre, we are a family-run business with a limited number of appointment slots available. When you book with us, we reserve that time exclusively for you and assign a highly skilled professional to cater to your needs.

To ensure the best service for all our clients, we require a 20% deposit when booking an appointment. This policy helps us manage commitment to appointments while keeping our costs affordable for our valued clients.

Last-minute cancellations can significantly impact our business, team, and other clients. We kindly ask that you provide sufficient notice if you need to reschedule or cancel your appointment.

Deposit & Cancellation Policy

To the extent permitted by law, all upfront payments made when booking services with Sass Beauty Centre are non-refundable 20% deposits.

  • Cancellations within 24 hours or failure to attend your appointment will result in forfeiture of your deposit. This helps cover costs associated with reserving our professionals and resources.

  • Cancellations made more than 24 hours in advance allow your deposit to be transferred to a new appointment within four weeks.

  • Gift voucher bookings: If canceled with less than 24 hours’ notice, 20% of the voucher value will be deducted.

As we operate by appointment only, last-minute cancellations are challenging to fill. The 24-hour notice period ensures your beauty therapist has the opportunity to offer the appointment to another client.

For your convenience, our answering service is available outside salon hours at 3351 3623, so you can notify us anytime.

Salon Etiquette

To ensure a smooth and relaxing experience for all our clients, we kindly ask that you arrive 5 minutes before your appointment. This allows time for check-in and ensures you receive the full service you have booked.

Running late: please notify us as soon as possible. While we will do our best to accommodate you, we may need to reschedule your appointment or shorten your service to avoid delays for the next client. In such cases, your deposit will be forfeited, and a new booking with a separate deposit will be required.

Shorter appointments (e.g., 10-minute bookings): arriving late may mean we are unable to proceed with your service.

To maintain a peaceful environment, we also kindly request that mobile phones be switched off upon entering Sass Beauty Centre, allowing all clients to fully relax and enjoy their experience.

Responsibility for Children

At Sass Beauty Centre, we adore children, but for the comfort and safety of all our clients, we kindly ask that you avoid bringing children where possible. Our salon is designed to be a serene and peaceful escape, making it less suitable for young children. Additionally, during your treatment, your eyes may remain closed, and your beauty therapist will be fully focused on you, meaning there is no supervision available for children. For safety reasons, our insurance does not cover unattended children in the salon. Like all beauty salons, we work with hot wax, chemicals, sharp tools, and dyes, which can pose risks to little ones. If finding childcare is challenging, consider booking appointments with a friend in a similar situation. You can take turns watching each other’s children while enjoying your treatments separately.

Cancellation Policy for Cosmetic Tattoo

To secure your appointment, a $50 non-refundable booking fee is required.

  • Rescheduling: You may transfer your booking fee to a new appointment, provided you notify us at least 48 hours in advance.

  • Late changes & cancellations: If you cancel or make changes within 48 hours of your appointment, your booking fee will be forfeited.

This policy ensures we can manage our schedule effectively while providing the best service to all our clients.

Reminder Service

For your convenience, we offer an SMS reminder service sent 48 hours before your appointment. Upon receiving this message, please confirm by replying ‘Y’ for Yes or call us if you need to cancel.

Sass Beauty Centre reserves the right to cancel any unconfirmed appointments. Clients who fail to attend their appointments without notice ("no-shows") will be required to pay a deposit for all future bookings.

In-Salon Refund Policy

At Sass Beauty Centre, we kindly ask that you choose carefully, as we do not offer refunds or product exchanges for change of mind.

  • Prepaid Treatments: If you fail to provide at least 24 hours’ notice for a cancellation, the full cost of the treatment will be forfeited.

  • Faulty Products: Customers may be eligible for a refund, exchange, or credit if a product is proven to be faulty within 14 days of purchase.

  • Refund Processing: Refunds over $500 will be processed via electronic funds transfer through our head office within 7 days of approval.

  • Services & Packages: We do not offer refunds for services already provided or for prepaid services. Series packages are non-refundable and non-transferable.

  • Choose Carefully: We do not offer refunds or product exchanges for change of mind purchases.

  • Online Order Returns: The cost of return postage and packaging is the customer’s responsibility.

Gift Voucher Terms & Conditions

  • Gift vouchers should be treated like cash, as lost or stolen vouchers cannot be replaced.

  • Validity: Vouchers are valid for 36 months from the date of purchase.

  • Non-Refundable: Gift vouchers cannot be refunded or exchanged for cash.

  • Redemption: Vouchers can be used for Sass Beauty Centre services only and cannot be applied to product purchases.

  • Appointment Policy: Your gift voucher serves as a deposit for your booking. Changes, rescheduling, or cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice will result in a 20% deduction from the voucher balance.

Client Details & Updates

To ensure the best experience, we kindly ask that you keep your contact details up to date. This allows us to communicate with you regarding your appointments when necessary.

Additionally, please inform us of any new medications or medical conditions, as these may affect your treatment, and adjustments may be required for your safety and comfort.
